Day 2, PM. With the threat of afternoon thunderstorms, we didn't want to be caught on a long trail or at much higher elevation. Decided to do two short hikes with big payoffs, Alluvial Fan and nearby Chasm Falls. The rains really pumped up the water volume! We made it back to camp in time to grill up some dinner before it really started to rain again. There was a lovely moon at night once the clouds cleared.
